Beware! Sanctuarty is establishing its cross-dimensional locks, its vastness and magic capabilities are still very finite.

In other words, it is an Early Version, please consider below description as a recollection of a fuzzy summer Dream that you just woke up from and that you would love to dream again or even to experience it in the Wake.

With that being said, your notes are safe, so feel free to enjoy sanctuary as it grows and expands.

Sanctuary is a game, a game that, like any other ritual, you play in or with your life, it is a lense that pays attention to the little detail, to your memory, to the things you care about and like any other game it isn't a directly productive thing, it might make you lose some time, it is a game that you ultimately lose, a bit like The Game, exactly when you think you have it, you lose it, but losing doesn't have to be a bad thing, in such a sense Sanctuary can be a sisyphean game, because it is about rolling this boulder of your internal knowledge up the mountain and watching with curious oddity the havoc as it tumbles down the slopes again.

In place of a mountain, though, try to imagine a maze, a green, flowery, wet and confusing maze of your daily life, your relations, friends, obligations, inspirations, thoughts, dreams and inside imagine an opal-shiny, beautiful, strong and little *scarab*, this is you.

Though not to fall too far from the sisyphean game analogy, the boulder is still there, it is a *ball of dung* that you, a scarab, are rolling, which for some great 4-th dimensional bipedal dream-walkers might seem like 'just' a ball of dung, but for you, this is everything, your hopes and dreams, your chances to find a scarab-mate.

It starts small, just a few scattered thoughts and todo lists, then you sprlinkle it with a quote of a poet or another fool you liked, roll in a loving word a friend gifted you today to help you shape yourself for tomorrow or a recollection of your last night's dream and just like that, your precious ball is growing.

While many earthly software-spells charm you with the perspective of a perfect order, how boring it is to sort through the 2D folders yonder, so here we promise a 3D maze of a cosy disorder, a way to get gleefully lost in your past and present ponder.

Whew, of course there will be means to organise and sort your thoughts (hopefully too many of them actually), so your manic-organiser-self will be delighted, but should you among others possess one such self, you sure know the pain when their perfect crystal structure of knowledge begins to brittle under touch and how hard it becomes to expand on it when preparations take more than actual thoughts being thought.

Sanctuary doesn't propose a clear way to avoid that (oops!), instead it's gardens will do their 3d-meshy-best to help you find comfort within the state of being and feeling lost. There will be many ways to revisit your old thoughts, to accidentally stumble into their ancient temples during your fares through your personal Sanctuary garden-maze. 

Maybe you will recollect a now-significant thought from exactly a year ago to add it to the current assemblage, maybe discover a new loop or a pattern of interest to your thoughts? In short, instead of trying to prevent the inevitable cycle of collapse and growth - it will help you bear the fall and enjoy the scavenging through the rubble of before.

There will be many eerie secrets and fluffy RNG fairies around to help you decorate your memory palace, to carve the parts for you to keep close to your heart in darkest moments when only your mind's own sanctuary is around.

Eternal Garden's Sanctuary is an experimental 3D notemaking game/ritual/tool inspired by years of personal notemaking practice, by the experience of being lost within the realms of wonder of the vast 3D landscapes of some eternal virtual worlds, by the spatial memorization technique called the method of loci, by Foucaults lectures on the ancient techniques of the self^1 and most importantly by the human capacity to dream and to dream lucidly.

Sanctuary aims to use spatial immersion in aid to your notemaking, remembering and self-digging endeavours. It provides you with a beautiful 3D garden to your thoughts that you can walk around and get lost in the maze of relations between your notes which you can hang around like paintings and door-shaped portals throughout the garden. You will be given many visual tools to let you shape your mental sanctuary to your liking in its looks and behaviours.

Your privacy is a priority, all your data (the notes you write and everything else) is stored locally.

Should we ever launch a spaceship of collective dreams, each will have equal access to it's means.

In this meaning we can also talk of dark magic, as in spells that were shaped to control the conduct of others through a consciously abusive and nonconsensual pulling of strings within the relations of power. For examples of that one doesn't have to look far, basically entire modern social media sector is ill-charmed to provoke involvement through conditioning to anger, scrolling-addiction and achieves that by depriving us of a general of ability to be in control of one's own content feed and  personal data. Sanctuary aims to be a software from the blending of time, mystery, garden and nourishment schools of magic to even if ever so slightly, support your thoughts, memories and dreams.
